We currently offer 3 methods of getting your file(s) to us, each method is listed below and described in depth.

Standard Uploading During Order Placement

As our primary means of customer file upload, it serves as our backbone for file submission. 95% of our files come in this way, so it's likely that this is the method that you will be using.

To start, you'll need to select the delivery method that you want, either Standard or Express. This will bring you to the item details page where you input the specifics of the poster in your order:

All you need to do at this point is click the browse button, find your file on your computer and click "Add to Cart". Once you click "Add to Cart" your upload will start. Be sure to put in your quantity desired before you click "Add to Cart". If you forget, you can always change the quantity during checkout.

Once the upload has completed, you will be forwarded to the shopping cart and will see something like this:

If you'd like to add more posters to your cart, just click the "Shop More" button at the bottom:

Mailing Your Files to Shortrunposters.com

Sometimes you may have 100's of images that you want to get printed and just don't have the time to wait around for each one to upload. In this case, you can burn a CD or DVD and send it to us via mail.

You'll still need to place your order and include a copy of your invoice with your CD or DVD. To choose this option, simply click the radio button next to "Send Files Via Mail Carrier or Alternate Upload", type in your TOTAL quantity and click add to cart.

Proceed through the checkout as normal. When your order is placed, print out a copy of your order confirmation and place it with the CD or DVD you will send to us along with any special instructions related to the quantity of prints per image.

Using Our Alternate Upload Site

As before, you'll need to choose the option "Send Files Via Mail Carrier or Alternate Upload", put in your TOTAL quantity and click "Add to Cart". Proceed through the checkout as normal. Check your email for an order confirmation and in the subject heading you'll find your order number - make a note of this number.

To proceed to our alternate upload site, go here: http://upload.shortrunposters.com. This web address will also be posted on the order confirmation page once you have placed your order.

You will see this page:

Fill out this form, making sure to put in your email and order number, as we cannot process any files without this information. If you have only one file to upload, then you can go ahead and click "Browse", select your file and click upload. If you have multiple files, you'll need to compress these into a .zip or .sit archive, then upload that archive.

How do I compress files into an archive?

PC Users:
Here's a really good tutorial on using WinZip to make an archive.

Mac OSX Users
Create a new folder on your desktop (>File >New Folder) and place all the files you want to upload into that new folder. "Right click" or "control click" on the folder, which will bring up a menu. You should see either "Compress (your folder name)" or Make an archive of (your folder name)". Select this and your computer will make an archive, which will result in a file called (your folder name).zip

Once you have this .zip file, you can upload that to us as detailed above.
