No, unfortunately dry mounting posters printed from Shortrunposters.com does not yield favorable results. We use a toner based process on our commercial press, similar to a color laserjet printer in an office. This uses a heat process to adhere the toner to the paper. When heat is applied after the poster has been printed, the toner will, in a sense, remelt and run making a mess. The best way to mount these posters is by using a pressure sensitive adhesive such as 3M's Spray Mount or Super 77. You can also use sheet adhesive or double sided tape. |

The problem with most of these online photo editing websites is that your image will be saved out at a drastically lower resolution than when you started. Typically they will save image at 480px X 640px. When this is increased to our print area of 17" x 23", your resolution is reduced to about 28 DPI where our suggested minimum is 150. Printing this sized file would result in significant blurriness and pixelation. However, with paid versions of these sites, usually the native resolution of images uploaded is preserved. Beware of these sites and remember if you have a question, please ask us first! |

Our parent company is Cumberland Graphics, Inc and we are only "doing business as" ShortRunPosters.com. Charges from us made to your card will show up as "Cumberland" or sometimes "Cumber". |

Chances are that our site had trouble processing your order and return an error message about how you were declined. You then realized that your billing information didn't match your credit card, so you changed it and the order went through. When attempting to place an order with incorrect billing information, our site makes an "authorization" on your card, but cannot complete the transaction until the billing information is correct. These are not "charges", but are "authorizations" that will be reversed. Sometimes this takes a few hours, other times it takes a few days. There's nothing that we can do to speed up the process on our end, but you may have luck contacting your bank. |
